Featuring a blacked-out upper that combines suede, nubuck, and ripstop mesh, Abloh then utilizes thick stitching around the seams to draw extra attention to the shoe’s classic construction. A large white Swoosh featuring the same bold stitch pattern adorns the midfoot, and further accents arrive via an off-center tongue tag and small orange tab. Of course it wouldn’t really be a Virgil sneaker without Helvetica text, which appears under and around the medial Swoosh and on the shoelaces. The shoe is then completed by a straightforward black midsole and outsole.
