Description
Sail is used as the base tone – a potential nod to traditional parchment – and the uppers feature a full-color mural graphic of red fireworks exploding over Mt. Fuji’s snow-capped peak. This graphic is left unimpeded by see-through Three Stripe detailing, though a gold foil Superstar print is present in its standard place on the midfoot.
The same firework print is replicated on the tongue, and a little blue is worked into all of the shoe’s graphics for further contrast. A red tag with Japanese characters appears on the lateral heel. Besides the aforementioned Three Stripe hits, branding is handled by a black badge on the tongue and a blue Trefoil on the heel. Blue laces hold together the entire assemblage, while unadorned rubber toe caps, midsoles and outsoles complete the look.
