Nike’s M2K Tekno – spawned from the dad shoe icon, the Monarch – is back again in a tonal Cool Grey make-up, adorning the intricate upper with flurry of varying shades. Dark nylon inners come shrouded behind the lighter leather overlays with black hardshell molds at the heel shimmering against a backdrop of mostly matte finishes. Midsoles, as imposing as ever, serve as the opposite end of the tonal spectrum in its white visage, balancing out an execution that is primarily dark in comparison. With a vast amount of hues and materials coming together, Beaverton has made a neutral tooling unapologetically loud.
